Xylorix Inspector is an automated macroscopic wood identification mobile app that utilizes trained artificial intelligence models to recognize timber genus and species quickly. By providing 24x magnified anatomical visual information of the cross-section of timber, this app offers efficient identification within seconds. To use Xylorix Inspector effectively, users need to attach the dedicated WIDK-24X01 illuminated macro-lens to their phone cameras.
This application is specifically designed for magnified wood grain surfaces and requires a 24x visual magnification lens (WIDK-24X01) for accurate results. It is compatible only with cameras having a normal focal length (26mm - 28mm). Additionally, users can access a new Free Model Album upon sign-up, while the app continues to expand its database of identified timber species.
